I have pain and anger inside
The more I have the more I hide
The promise of Gods Word, I seem to know
However, this freedom I can’t at this time show
Why do I feel guilty, sad and alone
Because this burden I carry on my own
This burden seems not to end
All because I walked out on a friend
To be honest and not want to lie
I want to run but I must not hide
The pain and fear I must walk through
Is to gain freedom and be renewed
This comes from Christ knowing me
It started because He hung on a tree
This is a relationship I no longer deny
Christ is the answer to the Hope inside
