Changed From The Inside Out

It is Christ who gives us a new start
Gods Spirit comes and lives in our heart

Like a garment is sewn together with thread
It is Christ who gives us our daily bread

It’s sin Gods Spirit convicts
It is pain the devil inflicts 

We change from the inside out
It’s Christ we learn not to doubt

Gods Word renews our mind
So no longer we can claim to be blind

It is Christ who teaches us to walk
So no longer Gods commands we can balk

It is Christ’s love we show each day
So people  can see the way

It is the hope from within that we tell
It is Gods grace that saves us from hell

I Just Believe

I get frustrated, I get tied up in knots
It’s Gods grace that helps me out a lot
When in trouble I feel like I can’t breath
I act on faith in Christ and just believe

When I struggle I get turned all around
I believe in Christ He is my solid ground
When I’m blind and I just can not see
I know it’s You Christ that carries me

When I’m down, it’s you that picks me up
I know it’s You Christ that fills my cup
When I’m alone and I’m so scared
It’s you Christ who is always there

Jesus Came To Give Hope To The Hopeless

See that man walking down the street
Head hanging down, no shoes on his feet
Wearing ragged clothes, a frown on his face
It was Christ’ sacrifice that gives him grace

See that kid sitting, back up against the wall
Fearing a bully that he knows he has to brawl
Has no home and life’s been nothing but a fight
It is Christ’ death on the cross that gives him light

See that mom with no place to call her home
She has a hungry child whose belly starts to groan
Where her next meal comes from she doesn’t know
Jesus sustains her life it’s her faith that she shows

See that veteran who has neither arms nor legs
To make a living he’s been forced to beg
He fought two wars now he has a hard start
He reached out for Jesus who has changed his heart

Jesus came down from heaven to walk as a man
With Him He brought a message, this was Gods plan
Gods plan was for Jesus to die on the cross
It’s only Jesus that can bring hope to the lost

Are You Alone Or Set Apart

Are you alone or set apart
Do you sit and stare with an empty heart
Have you been betrayed by an old friend
That tells you lies and that you have to blend
Do you blend with the world and God
Do these lies tell you that you’re flawed
Does this old friend steal your joy
And treat you like a broken toy
So here’s how to be set apart
Just ask Jesus to come into your heart
Then start reading the Word of God
One day you’ll find that you’re awed
Then start obeying Gods commands
He alone will teach you how to firmly stand
It is Jesus we learn to imitate
It’s your heart He renovates
Don’t forget to confess your sin
Convicted by Gods Spirit who lives within
No longer think you’re flawed
Because now you’re a child of God
