Christ Breaks Every Chain

You died on the Tree to break every chain

Even the sin of addiction that causes all my pain

The freedom from sin that opens up my heart

You died on that cross to give me a new start

I once was lost in the world and going to the grave

I heard Your message and knew You came to save

It was me that dropped to my knees

You called my name then pulled me from the weeds

I confessed all my sin it is You that forgives

You gave me life now forever with You I will live

Heavens my home I’m temporarily in this shell

You came to this earth to save me from hell

Now when I look in the mirror it’s You I want to see

I’m reminded that it’s You that set me free

You washed my feet then sent me out to serve

I read Your Word to help me not to swerve

You put me on a mission that helps build my faith

I share Your Gospel it tells how you came to save

So if you are lost and broken all’s you do is want to hide

Drop to your knees confess your sin then Jesus lives inside

Your heart is where Christ wants to live

A new life is what he wants to give

So if you’re asking why Christ had to die

To free us from God’s wrath so we won’t have to die

He sent me out to share how He came to give hope

I share God’s message of how He saved me from all the dope

I’ve been set from all the guilt and shame

Christ died on the tree so that we can believe His Name

So if your lost and all you want to do is die

Believe in Jesus’ Name so you won’t have to believe satans lies

When I look in the mirror

Who do I see

Someone in a broken glass

Trying to be me

When I put on a front

I put on a mask

Who am I hiding from

Behind this broken glass

Masks are made

But should never be worn

I hide behind masks

So my heart is not torn

Then came You

Breaking my chains

You started with my heart

Then cleaned all my stains

I got rid of that ole mask

I have nothing to hide

Your Word’s in my heart

It’s in what I abide

Now when I look in a mirror

Who do I see

An image of Christ

Is what I’m trying to be

2 Corinthians 5:6-7

So we are alwaysof good courage. We know thatwhile we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith not by sight.

Walking By Faith

We walk by faith not by sight

We are called out of darkness, into His light

We have not a clue, God sees who we are

He knows that we’re evil, without a pure heart

To pray is the answer, asking for Salvation to come

Christ died on the cross, for all, not just some

He sent us His Spirit, to be our true guide

He will never leave us, He’s always by our side

To walk with Jesus is a blessing for sure

To believe in Jesus is sin’s only cure

Jesus is the answer to walking by faith

He is the answer, our penalty’s been waved

So to walk by faith, not by sight

Perseverance is the answer

To standing firm in this fight

Colossians 2:11-12

In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 13. having been buried with him in baptisim, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.

By His Blood

Christ paid a debt

Man could never pay

He nailed our sin to the cross

By His Blood He made a way

Thru His death and resurrection

We are reconciled to our God

Thru the cross He made the way

For God to no longer see our flaws

We are circumcised by the Spirit

To believe in Christ’ Holy Name

To believe in Christ in faith

We’ll never be the same

We are now a new creation

To walk humbly with our God

Be forever on your guard

For satan points out our flaws

In Christ’ Name we persevere

Thru our every trial

In Christ, He is the One

Who carries us every mile

We are saved By His Blood

To walk humbly with our God

Please open up your heart

To forever stand in AWE

We Are Called To Love

We are called to live not in fear

But to draw close to God, who is always near

We are called to be His feet and hands

To trust Him thru this all, He has a plan

We are called to walk humbly with our God

To love the world in spite of all our flaws

We are called to love the least of these

To ask for power thru prayer from our knees

We are called in the midst of tragedy

To show Christ’s love thru humility

We are called to love our enemies

Which takes strength from our knees

Above all, we are plainly called to love

To show the world there’s the God above

Heaven’s My Home

I’m bought with a price

He hung on a cross

He gave up His life

So, I’d no longer be lost

He conquered the grave

He set captives free

He was raised back to life

So, I’ll forever be free

Forgiveness came with a price

His blood spilled on the ground

He gave me a new life

Now I’m heavenward bound

I’m a justified sinner

He made me His own

It happened before time

Now heaven’s my home

I’ll forever be grateful

I’m indebted to serve

Thankful to Christ

I will follow His Word

He will always guide me

Wherever I go

Now I’ve tasted His goodness

So, my life it will show

Remember, I’m bought at a price

I can never go back

I will endure to the end

Even tho satan attacks

Tho, he tries his hardest

I know the battle is won

It comes from a man

That God calls His own Son

Our Redeemer

Jesus overcame

What no one could ever do

He paid the price for sin

To give life to me and you

He trampled over death

Then conquered the grave

This all happened on the cross

So our penalty for sin could be waved

He is our King of Kings

Yet gentle as a dove

He is seated with our Father

Which is in our home above

He called us out of darkness

Into His marvelous Light

He is our strength in our struggle

He is our help in this fight

When I’m falling down

I can reach up for His hand

He came as the redeemer

For this is God’s master plan

My security is in Jesus

He is my salvation plan

I’m thankful to God

He sent Jesus to save man

There Was A Time

There was a time when I was lost

I stole from you, I didn’t count the cost

I was deaf and blind, I could not see

The life that was right in front of me

There was a time when I did not care

I was stingy and selfish, I did not share

I was all about what I could take

But I had pain in me that I could not shake

There was a time when I was mean as can be

I would let the pain and hurt wash over me

The pain and hurt caused me to fight

I got lost in the world of evil at night

There was a time when I thought I was tough

I would huff and puff, shouting out all my stuff

I made you think that I was mean and rough

I would come in the door acting all so gruff

There was a time when I saw that I was broken

I heard Your voice and knew that You had spoken

You spoke into my heart and changed who I was to be

I knew right then it was Christ who died at Calvary

I knew right then that I was dead in my trespass and sin

It was then that Your Holy Spirit came to live within

Now I’m a new creation, I’m set apart

I want to shout out to the world about this new start

There are still times I’m blind and cannot see

I know God’s Spirit has a firm hold on me

I put my trust in Him alone

Until that time I’m going home

Covered By His Love

Dungeons and prisons, do they exist

In my mind, they come with a twist

For a time, I lived without God

Entertaining my life with all of my flaws

I twisted and turned at every little bend

In a dark world, would my heart get to mend

I would go over here, then go over there

Lost in darkness, pulling out my own hair

While entertaining my flaws, I loved my own sin

I was lost in confusion and the mess I was in

It felt like a tunnel, I know I was in a war

To live this dark life became such a chore

This was an addiction, there was no escape

My world was darker than any landscape

At the end of this tunnel, I saw a dim light

But I was lost in this battle, lost in this fight

With nowhere to go, I was at the end of my rope

Holding nothing but pain, with no way to cope

This is the time I knew that I was lost

He stretched out His hand, then led me to the cross

My burdens I brought Him, to that cursed tree

He died for my sins, forgiveness was offered to me

Now I’m white as wool, clean as fresh fallen snow

I belong to my Savior, I know which way I must go

I study His Word, I want to know Him more and more

I’m thankful to God, there was a Knock on my door

From dungeons and prisons, I’m freed by His blood

He washed over my sin, He covered me by His Love
