Christ Breaks Every Chain

 

You died on the Tree to break every chain

Even the sin of addiction that causes all my pain

 

The freedom from sin that opens up my heart

You died on that cross to give me a new start

 

I once was lost in the world and going to the grave

I heard Your message and knew You came to save

 

It was me that dropped to my knees

You called my name then pulled me from the weeds

 

I confessed all my sin it is You that forgives

You gave me life now forever with You I will live

 

Heavens my home I’m temporarily in this shell

You came to this earth to save me from hell

 

Now when I look in the mirror it’s You I want to see

I’m reminded that it’s You that set me free

 

You washed my feet then sent me out to serve

I read Your Word to help me not to swerve

 

You put me on a mission that helps build my faith

I share Your Gospel it tells how you came to save

 

So if you are lost and broken all’s you do is want to hide

Drop to your knees confess your sin then Jesus lives inside

 

Your heart is where Christ wants to live

A new life is what he wants to give

 

So if you’re asking why Christ had to die

To free us from God’s wrath so we won’t have to die

 

He sent me out to share how He came to give hope

I share God’s message of how He saved me from all the dope

 

I’ve been set from all the guilt and shame

Christ died on the tree so that we can believe His Name

 

So if your lost and all you want to do is die

Believe in Jesus’ Name so you won’t have to believe satans lies

Thru The Blood Of Jesus

Thru the Blood of Jesus

 

It’s thru the power in the blood of Jesus

By the cross is how He see’s us

The world is who He loves

Even the rich who hang out in clubs

 

It’s was me who had ears to hear

In my heart the message was so clear

Now I know that freedom is real

Come on satan, my soul you can’t steal

 

The image of christ is who I want to be

So the Light of Christ is who you’ll see

If you’re broken and lost

Know that, for you, Christ died on that cross

 

There’s freedom to be had by breaking every chain

He’ll wipe all your tears, then clean all your stains

So if you’re down and out, living on the street

Drop to your knees, Jesus is who you will meet

 

Now He cleaned you up, so much that you will glow

Stay in Gods Word, it’s how you will grow

HE washed their feet, as an example to serve

He gave you His Word, so in it you won’t swerve

 

On the cross Christ took our sin

Now I can say Christ is my friend

So if you’re living against God’s law

Please answer when Christ calls

 

So when you reach up and grab God’s hand

Then you realize that it was God’s plan

It’s God’s love that you’re called to give

Stand firm, so it’s the Gospel you will live.

In Him I Stand Awed

I rely on my faith, to take off my mask

Where is your faith now, the devil would ask

I’m encouraged to stand firm, during this evil time

This mountain won’t move, I know i must climb

I have such little faith,I know I must trust God

He fills me with power, in Him I stand awed

As I live out my life, the struggles will come

I reach up for God’s hand, He knows the outcome

I struggle and struggle, i put on my mask

I started believing the lies, then fear set in to bask

Fear had it’s help, from the father of lies

My Lord opened His arms, as I sat and just cried

My Lord left His flock, to come search me out

He calmed all my fear, He settled my doubt

I was broken and shattered, I knew I was lost

He carried my burdens, all the way to the cross

So I dropped to my knees, where I weeped as I prayed

God answered my prayers, where my penalty’s been paid

He covered my sin, now I won’t be afraid

Forgiveness is a blessing, it’s sweet as pie

Jesus came to my to my aid, now I can stop believe the lie

He came as a ransom, He died on the Tree

He now lives in my heart, now I am set free

The struggle is real, and you that you’re lost

Come to the Savior, where He died on the Cross

Jesus Take The Wheel

 

This is my life and the struggle is real

It seems as tho I’ve lost my zeal

I battle and battle as tho there’s no end

I feel as tho, I’ve lost my dear friend

 

I’m in a place where I have to trust God

But the devil keeps on bringing up my flaws

I know I’m broken, but I can’t see straight

Away from me satan, you can’t tell me my fate

 

I’m stuck in a hospital for  very long time

It seems like a jail, where I committed a crime

I know that’s not real, it’s all in my head

I feel as tho, I want to stay in my bed

 

This is a spiritual battle, where I’m to stand firm

The devil pushes and pushes, where he wants me to squirm

I put on my Armor, as God commands me to do

The Shield of Faith, I put on, then I buckle my Shoes

 

I hold fast to God’s Word, where His promises are true

I put my faith in my Lord, so I’ll no longer feel blue

I’m now in a rehab, where I’m trying to heal

I hand over the reins, where God takes the wheel

 

I wait and I wait, when I want to go home

I’m asked to stay, then I feel I’m alone

Opposition keeps coming, from the master of lies

I run and I run, seeking Jesus, I try

 

I pray and I pray, but when I think there’s no use

God speaks to my heart, then I know I won’ loose

This is a spiritual war, where I’m told to stand firm

I dig into the Word, where I learn and I learn

 

I put in a call, to one of my dear friends

He encourages with Truth, so my time will not end

He asked me one thing, who do I trust

I put my faith in my Lord, where He is not unjust

 

I am reminded again, that Christ died on that Tree

He saved my pour soul, now I am set Free

He broke all my chains, so I don’t get lost in my mind

He opened my eyes, so I am no longer blind

 

Thru God’s eyes I can see, the evil world that’s at hand

Christ came to redeem, now that was Gods plan

So if you are lost, or don’t know what to do

Surrender to God, He wants to save you

Jesus Lives

Jesus Lives

 

He walked the earth 3 ½ years

With message to repent

Please open your ears

 

It was that cross

That cross that He died

He gave His message with love

For even those who had pride

 

He loved the world

Even tho they were lost

He hung on the tree

Even tho He counted the cost

 

He shared the gospel of love

In order to be saved

He broke all the chains

For all those in slaved

 

If you are lost

Or loaded with pride

Open your heart

Let Jesus inside

 

Now you know that He lives

He lives inside your heart

He will clean you up

To give you a new start

 

Now that you’ve tasted

The goodness of God

You can never go back

To a life that is flawed

 

 

The new life that you live

Is the message to serve

Accept our Lord’s gift

The one you’ll never deserve

 

Now that you’ve read this poem

I hope you know this

For those who believe

Jesus Lives

A Chance To Believe

Jesus Christ paid it all

He ransomed man from the fall

If it wasn’t for His Blood

We’d all die, like those in the flood

He paid the penalty for our sin

To give us new life to begin

If it wasn’t for the cross

We would die when we were lost

A righteousness comes from our Savior

Not from changing our behavior

God put Christ upon the Cross

Yes, to for all who’s lost.

For all have sinned, we come short of Gods Glory

For all who believe, we’ll miss God’s furry

This why Christ died upon that Tree

To give us all a chance to believe

When we put faith in our Savior

He’s the only way to change our behavior

I’m thankful for the love of God

Because of Christ, He see’s pst our flaws

When I die, I’ll know where I’ll go

Until then, His Word will help me grow

There is a moral to this story

Put your faith in Christ, then give God all the Glory

This poem was inspired as I was studying in the Book of Romans. Romans 3:21-31.

In the Potters Hands

When I was going thru a storm

I didn’t know what to do

I reached up for Jesus’s hand

His Spirit is who guided me thru

When I was walking by the ocean

I was then pulled out to sea

I knew I would’ drown

Because of Your firm hold on me

I was once on a mountain top

When sin knocked me down

Your grace covered all my sin

Then You planted me on solid ground

Now the sky is blue and clear

Not a cloud in the sky

You broke all my chains

Because my trust in Christ

When I was young and dumb

I thought I knew it all

I was living a life of sin

Otherwise because of the fall

Now I’m in the Potters hands

I’m being shaped to the image of His Son

My flaws are being chiseled off

A new log has begun

Shackles N Chains

Shackles n chains

They are what binds

They control my direction

They even control my mind

I became a prisoner

When I was lost

Thank Hod for Jesus

Thank God for the cross

He was beaten, blooded

All black n blue

Ha never uttered a word

To those who had no clue

He hung high on a hill

For all to see

Satan thought he had won

Then God provided the Key

When Christ was walking

With the message to repent

To hang on the Tree

Was His sole intent

I’m free from these shackles

I’m free from these chains

I got Jesus’s blood

Running thru my veins

I carry His message

It’s the Gospel of Peace

Christ gives us new hope

To all who will believe
