Oh My, What A Mess I Was In

Christ freed me from the bondage of sin

Oh my, what a mess I was in

My freedom came with a price

He died to give me new life

This new life consists of His ways

In which my aim is to not stray

He gave me His Spirit as a guide

His conviction is what I want to abide

I confess my sin to my Lord

My heart is where His Word is stored

There’s nothing I can do to earn grace

Nor strength to run in this race

Christ is the one true God

He gives healing where I am flawed

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

Christ died to break all my chains

Oh my, how I used to be lost

I’m now thankful that Christ died on the cross

He was raised to life on the third day

To give me a life worth living today

Blessed Are The Pure In Heart

Blessed is the pure in heart

For we will see Jesus

 

Through His righteousness

Is the only way God see’s us

 

When we are blind and can not see

On a dead end path

 

Jesus is the only source

That saves us from God’s wrath

 

When we’re lost and have strayed away

It’s Jesus that’s our light

 

He guides us on a narrow path

He protects us with His might

 

When we have taken all we can

And have endured the test

 

We put our trust in sovereign God

We know that Jesus gives us rest

This Is My Prayer

Christ humbled Himself and became a man

With a message He came, obeying God’s plan

He would bleed on a tree to save our soul

This was said by the prophets of old

He came to die to set man free

He died for you, He died for me

He brought us His Word, He brought us grace

Christ gives us power to run in this race

He gives what we need to live a holy life

He’s our strength in temptation and in strife

I’ve tasted God’s goodness, I’ve tasted His ways

From His commands I never want to stray

Christ is my Savior, He is my Lord

He is my comfort when in discord

Christ changed my heart, for this I know

As I practice His ways there’s fruit that shows

Jesus is more than just a friend

I know He’ll be with me till the very end

I love my Jesus with all of my heart

I try to put Him first right from the start

There’s power in the blood, there’s power in the resurrection

If you submit to Jesus He will give you more than affection

He gives us love, He calls us His heir

I hope you will choose Jesus, This is my prayer
