On Christ Our Rock We Stand

It’s the gospel we’re called to live
Our sacrifice is what we give
Our testimony is how we walk
Our actions must do more than talk
It’s our life that we must show
How in Christ we walk and grow
How we grow and mature each day
We trust God and obey
We obey His Word and commands
So on Christ our Rock we stand
We can stand firm in this life
Even though satan throws us strife
We can still be filled with peace
Even though temptations never cease
Our identity comes from Christ
Even though satan tries to take us for a heist
Satan comes to steal
Our joy he wants to kill
It’s our walk that people see
So live how Christ set you free
It’s the gospel we are called to share
So do everything through prayer

Lord It’s You

Lord it’s to you my heart I give
Passion for You is how I want to live

You made a way to give grace a start
It’s Your grace that opened and changed my heart

Your mercy is what saved me from death
I’m grateful for each day You give me breath

It’s Your love that put Jesus on a cross
It’s Your plan to redeem and save the lost

You alone raised Jesus from the grave
For all who believe they will no longer be a slave

It is You who breaks my chains to sin
You left me a guide and He lives within

It’s Your Spirit that convicts me when I’m wrong
It’s Your Word that guides and makes me strong

Your wisdom is what I need to help me change
When I do it’s my life that gets rearranged

The gospel is what we’re called to share
Your Truth is how You show You care

Salvation comes only through Your Son
He is the Light and He is the only one

We Are Called By His Blood

We Are Called
By His Blood

We are called to follow Jesus
On a cross, He died to free us
It’s by His blood that we can live
In response, our life we give

By His walk He is known
Through His Word we are shown
It’s by His Spirit we are led
All because His blood was shed

He sent His Spirit to be our guide
He promised to never leave our side
It’s by His blood we can see
On the cross He died for thee

We are called to testify
It’s His Truth we can’t deny
It’s by blood we are healed
It’s through His Spirit we are sealed

We are called to spread His Word
It’s the message we have heard
It’s through His death our life is new
It’s through His Word our mind’s renewed

As we live for Him each day
Through His Word we trust and pray
It’s by His blood we are blessed
It’s through trust in Him we have rest

Broken

When you feel broken and alone
With no place to call your home

Are you wondering what to do
You feel like people are judging you

Then your emotions start running wild
Along with them your thoughts are viled

You feel like running but no place to turn
Your head is spinning, your stomach churns

Are you stuck and have no place to go
You feel like life is nothing but a show

You have no hope and feel like giving up
Cause you know you’ll never measure up

You’re running on empty and have no choices
Your ears are burning because you hear voices

There’s one voice that sounds out loud
But it is soft because He’s not proud

He’s as humble as the day is wild
His voice calls out, come to me child

Christ stands and knocks will you let Him in
He frees you from the bondage of sin

Christ will forgive when you confess
He will free you from all of this mess

As Christ comes in you get a new start
Right away he starts to soften your heart

He changes you from the inside out
You have tears of joy and you want to shout

You have some hope and want to share
How Christ changed your life and made you an heir

His Grace

Grace is something
that can not be earned
A relationship with Christ
is one to be yearned
We have been called
from the beginning of time
To walk with the Lord
who is sublime
We are called
to turn away from our sin
Our strength comes from the Lord
His Spirit lives within
His love for the lost
cost Him His life
He hung on the cross
to bring us into the light
As we walk with our Lord
for the rest of our days
We lean on Him
in order to not stray
We are His bride
He calls us His church
He knocks at our door
to quicken our search
As He knocks at your door
will you invite Him to come in
He will offer forgiveness
for all your sin
For the wages of sin
is death, you must know
But as we walk with our Lord
we will continue to grow
If you are living in darkness
you can’t find your way
Respond to His calling
I implore you today
It’s His voice
that you hear speak
Calling you home
when you are weak
His voice is the one
that speaks to your heart
Turn from your old life
to get a new start

His Glistening Words

His Glistening Words

God came to earth, Twas His great plan
He came to us in the form of man
He healed the sick, raised the dead
He fed the multitudes fish and bread
He knew the Scriptures word for word
Even the deaf every word was heard
He taught Gods Word to all that listened
And when He spoke each word it glistened
They cursed Him, He lies they said
They cried out this man should be dead
They nailed Him to a cross on a hill
His glistening words can be heard, still
His life and words are there for all
All there at your beacon call

The Gift

The greatest gift God gives is free
All because Christ died on a tree

Christ paid the price once and for all
So you can live to answer Gods call

If you are thinking about God
But your hold up is that you’re flawed

Ask God to reveal Himself to you
That is exactly what He will do

He will show Himself in a way
That you’ll want to respond today

Your heart has a voice within
Asking you to let Him in

So if you heed His call
He will give you His all
