Is He Knocking

Is there someone knocking, will you let Him in
He wants to change your heart, change it from within
He’s calling you out of darkness and in to the light
He wants to be your guide and help you in this fight
Christ starts as your Savior, then becomes your Lord
If you don’t believe these words then you should read your Sword
He offers you freedom from the bondage of sin
He offers you refuge from the mess you are in
If you find yourself in denial or find yourself in strife
Christ will offer you a way that will change your life
All you have to do is open the door of your heart
Believe in Jesus’s Name and He’ll give you a fresh new start
Now you are a new creation, you belong to the Way
As long as you lean on Jesus He will help you not to stray
Let us not forget to confess all of our sin
Jesus will forgive us and come live within
Now you are His children washed white as wool
He sent you His Spirit now your heart is full

Your Saving Grace

Oh what it’s like to depend on God
He’s my saving grace even though I am flawed
When I get stuck and in a bind
He’s the only one that never leaves me behind
I come to Him all tattered and bruised
He’s my only refuge from being refused
I’ve been kicked and beaten, battered around
He calms the seas so I won’t be drowned
When I come to Him all broken and scarred
He heals my heart where it was hard
I come to Him with my broken heart
He restores my faith right from the start
I come to you Lord broken and beat down
Lacking in faith can’t lift my head off the ground
You show me the way help me to choose
To follow your ways so i never will loose
I never will lose the love you have for me
All because Your Son died on a tree
