Choices

When frustration is bursting though my veins

My minds on fire like a fresh wrecked train

There is steam a blowing out my ears

It’s pouring out because I can hardly hear

There are too many voices stacked in a crowd

There are people in my head who’s voices are loud

Chaos is happening all over the place

One foot at a time I’m sinking in this race

So I drop to me knees and ask my Lord what to do

I can’t do this on my own so I must put my trust in You

I ask You in my prayer to help me discern

Which way I must go for I know I must turn

It’s Your voice that I desire to hear

Not from satan whispering in my ear

The choices that I made led me down a deadly path

Thankful to Your grace I don’t have to see Your wrath

The sin in my life had me separated from my God

Because Christ’s righteousness You never see my flaws

I have choices today because of what Christ did on the cross

I live my life for Him, not live like I’m lost

He Loves Us Still

If you’re on the road that leads to sin

Turn and seek the power within

 

It is God’s Spirit that guides our way

We read His Word so we will not stray

 

It is His commands we must obey

To follow His Truth and love His way

 

We heard Christ’s message we must fulfill

We hear His voice when we’re still

 

The message of the cross is the power within

Christ conquered the grave and covered our sin

 

He feeds our hunger and quenches our thirst

God desires for us to put Him first

 

To love is the command that we must fulfill

Although we are sinners He loves us still

Lord I Submit To You Today

Lord forgive me is what I pray

It’s my sin I give to you today

 

Help me not to take it back

Your strength is what I lack

 

I’m as broken as can be

Before you on my knees

 

I ask You for Your grace

Because I am losing in this race

 

The devil is on the prowl

I can hear his grizzly growl

 

He’s like a sneaky snake

My heart is what he wants to take

 

He’s on the hunt and chase

To ware me down in this race

 

But I’m hidden in God’s arms

For the devil can no longer harm

 

I have victory in my God

Even though I’m filthy flawed

 

Lord I submit to you today

All I am, this is what I pray
