He Came To Redeem

It was God’s plan from the beginning of time

To put Christ on the cross to redeem mankind

For man was in rebellion against our great God

It was man’s sin that caused him to be flawed

Along with the sin man decided to hide

Separated from God no longer at His side

Man had to work by the sweat of his brow

Herding the sheep and pushing the plow

Fast forward in time around 4000 years

Jesus was born with a message so clear

Even from birth, He gave the world hope

That His great love was spread through the globe

The reason He came was to die on the cross

He rose the third day, therefore saving the lost

Jesus’ walk was perfect from birth

To redeem us from sin and give us rebirth

From the beginning of time, man’s life was filled with sin

We all know we don’t want satan to win

So we pray to our Lord to give us His Grace

To give us His strength and His love through this race

Christ Will Meet You Where You’re At

Sin had a debt that had to be paid in full

So that you can have life, oh what a jewel

 

Christ paid the debt of all that was due

There is nothing required of me or of you

 

There is nothing you can add to His unfailing grace

Christ’ gave us all that we need for this race

 

Mercy and grace is provided by God

Man can’t do a thing all because he’s flawed

 

No amount of works can take the place of grace

We have to put trust in Christ, grace come thru faith

 

I hope that you know there’s a call on your life

Put your trust in God and reach out to Christ

 

God put Christ on the cross so you can have His grace

It’s the gift of God, will you join us in this race

 

You don’t have to wear no fancy clothes or a shiny hat

Put your faith in Christ, He’ll meet you were you’re at

Christ Our Rock

When you see storms coming round

Reach for Christ, He can be found

 

When the winds come blowing thru

Christ our Rock will hold you true

 

When temptation seems too strong

Stand on the Word you can’t go wrong

 

When the devil has you down

Reach for Christ, He’s your Solid Ground

 

When sin has you in it’s claws

You can find strength at the cross

 

When life just has you beat

Lay your burdens at Christ’ feet

 

Jesus will meet you where you are

He will never be afar

 

Jesus is the answer with what you do

He will always be there for you

God Displays His Love

It’s God’s love we’re called to display

Our walk is how we show it from day to day

Our life is to show His amazing grace

It’s not about how fast we run this race

We’re called to be kind and love everyone

Our life is to reflect how grace was won

It’s all about how God showed His love for man

To put Christ on a cross was God’s plan

It was the only way for man to be redeemed

Because we won’t stop turning our back on God it seems

The cross is God’s way to show His love

After the cross Christ ascended to heaven above

Then He sent His Spirit to be our guiding light

He helps us obey His commands in this fight

His Spirit convicts us of our sin

Then helps us walk out of the mess we’re in

He forgives our sin as we confess

He calms our anxiety and our stress

Christ will then transform and cleanse our heart

From then from the world we will be set apart

As we read His Word our minds get renewed

Which changes our whole attitude

Now we want to live and serve our God

Who loves us even though we’re flawed

One Look

We are told to turn and run from lust

One look can take away all our trust

One look is never just one look

You sneak another and that’s all it took

One look has you captured by surprise

You never look into their eyes

One look inhabits the pleasure zone

Which in the end leaves you all alone

You’re captured by an adrenaline rush

Which turns your reality into mush

One look will cause you to sneak around

When in full bloom has you bound

One look gets you all aroused

Before you know it has you soused

One look has deception whispering in your ears

Then tells you lies that turn into tears

One look has you in chains of selfishness

Then has you blind and saying To Hell With This

One look will rob you of your family

Which will have you chained to calamity

But there is someone who can free you of these chains

Turn to Jesus and hand over the reins

Submit to God resist the devil and he will flee

When you submit to God He’ll be all you’ll see

My Father Is Known For His Grace

My Father is known for His grace

This is a gift that I must embrace

As I learn to walk with God

One by one He heals me of my flaws

I’ve been called to live by His ways

Staying in His Word helps me not to stray

I submit to Him all my life

This helps not to act out in strife

Christ is my Lord He is my King

I know I can trust Him in everything

He prunes and trims me so I grow

I read His Word so it I will know

I’m a follower of the most High

He set me free so no longer will I die

I follow His ways I follow His Word

It’s the Gospel Message that I have heard

He calls me His child He calls me friend

This message of grace will free you from sin
