Oh Lord, I Come To You Today

 

Oh Lord I come to You today

On my knees I humbly pray

It’s my sin that wants to act out today

Oh Lord, help me find another way

Lead down the narrow path that’s straight

I want to enter into Your Pearly gates

From my sin You died to set me free

I draw close to You so the devil has to flee

You came and conquered death

That gave me my first new breath

Oh Lord, as I struggle now

Help me put my feet to the plow

I was in chains and you set me free

Now in Your presence I want to be

I want to walk with You in the cool of night

Oh Lord, forever show Your Light

As an example You washed my feet

So I can share Your hope down on the street

The gospel helped me respond in such a way

That I never want to stumble and stray

Oh Lord, be my guiding light

Help me to stand firm in this fight

As I bring my burdens to the cross

Thank God, I’ll never again be lost

You gave Christ to be my solid rock

I’ll forever be in Your flock

By His Blood

Colossians 2:11-12

In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 13. having been buried with him in baptisim, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.

 

By His Blood

 

Christ paid a debt

Man could never pay

He nailed our sin to the cross

By His Blood He made a way

 

Thru His death and resurrection

We are reconciled to our God

Thru the cross He made the way

For God to no longer see our flaws

 

We are circumcised by the Spirit

To believe in Christ’ Holy Name

To believe in Christ in faith

We’ll never be the same

 

We are now a new creation

To walk humbly with our God

Be forever on your guard

For satan points out our flaws

 

In Christ’ Name we persevere

Thru our every trial

In Christ, He is the One

Who carries us every mile

 

We are saved By His Blood

To walk humbly with our God

Please open up your heart

To forever stand in AWE

Our Redeemer

Our Redeemer

 

Jesus overcame

What no one could ever do

He paid the price for sin

To give life to me and you

 

He trampled over death

Then conquered the grave

This all happened on the cross

So our penalty for sin could be waved

 

He is our King of Kings

Yet gentle as a dove

He is seated with our Father

Which is in our home above

 

He called us out of darkness

Into His marvelous Light

He is our strength in our struggle

He is our help in this fight

 

When I’m falling down

I can reach up for His hand

He came as the redeemer

For this is God’s master plan

 

My security is in Jesus

He is my salvation plan

I’m thankful to God

He sent Jesus to save man

Forever He’ll Reign

Our Savior was hung on a criminals cross

Dying for all, forgiving who’s lost

He was born by the Spirit, yet walked as a man

Walking in obedience, He completed God’s plan

He is the reconciliation between man and God

He is our redemption since man has been flawed

Let’s rejoice in our sorrow and rejoice in our pain

He came as our Savior, Forever He’ll reign

He is Alpha, Omega, the Beginning and End

After the ascension, His Spirit He did send

I stand in amazement, I stand in awe

He takes me as I am, with all of my flaws

I rejoice in sadness, I rejoice when in fear

I know I can call out, He draws me in near

I submit to His Lordship, I submit to my God

I’ll forever be His, He’ll forever be awed

I stand in His mercy, I’m saved by His grace

He is my strength to persevere in this race

He called me out of darkness, into the light

I answered His call, I walked away from my plight

He offered me freedom, He set me apart

It’s a new life He gives right from the start

I’m sealed by His Spirit, forever His child

All because of Jesus I have been reconciled

This Is God’s Story This Is God’s Song

A fool in his heart says there’s no God

We have to ask for grace because we are flawed

Sin entered the world thru rebellion of one man

Tho the redemption of one man God had a plan

In the likeness of man God sent His Son

Thru His death on the cross salvation was won

Forgiveness is what He extended to all

God’s grace is what covered the fall

If you believe in your heart not just your head

That Jesus is God and He was raised from the dead

Then you will be saved from death caused by sin

His Spirit will now come and live within

Have you confessed with your mouth that Jesus is God

Because His love on the cross covers over our flaws

This is fact, not fiction, not false, but True

It comes from the Word of God and He’s looking for you

If you have a question or burden deep down in your heart

Look to Jesus as Savior for He’ll give you a new start

This is God’s story, this is His song

It’s the Word I will preach all day the day long

Romans 10:9

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Amen!

A Mountain Called Calvary

A Mountain Called Calvary

 

We know Jesus came from heaven for we’ll see Him face to face

It is His power that he gives us to run this very race

 

It’s all because of mercy, His grace He freely gives

It’s only thru the cross we learn how to live

 

His commands are a guiding force for us to obey

It is His path we walk and learn to not stray

 

His Truth is what frees us from our death and sin

His Spirit is who draws us then comes to live within

 

His grace He freely offers for all who want to partake

It is chains of unforgiveness that He wants to break

 

It’s our heart He wants to change from the inside out

It’s our faith wants to increase so we never have to doubt

 

Jesus is our teacher for He wants us to learn

That grace is a gift that we can never earn

 

Jesus paid the ransom by hanging on the tree

He hung on the mountain called Calvary

Eclipsed By Glory

Eclipsed By Glory

We must never eclipse the glory of our God

Or show He doesn’t exist or He’s fake or a fraud

He’s true, He is kind, and He’s faithful to His Word

His message is the one that I hope you have heard

God came as a man to save all that are lost

He came with a message and ended on a cross

His message is this for all who wants to hear

His message is salvation and He says it very clear

He came, He died and was raise on the third day

To save us from our sin and heal us from our evil ways

He came to save, forgive and seal us with His spirit

This is the gospel message can you come and hear it

If you confess with your mouth, believe it in your hart

Jesus is Lord and He will give a new start

He was raised to life on the third day

To give us a new chance to walk in His ways

Christ loves us for this is what I know

This is a way of life not a game or a show

This is what one would call an inside job

The change in your hart can only be done by this God

He is alive this very day not a fake nor a fraud

He’s sovereign, He’s just He’s our one true God

The Depth Of His Love

It was in the dead and dark of night

I was quaking in my spirit and nothing was right

I looked around me and nothing could I see

But I knew something was there, it was staring at me

Then I could see it’s beady eyes, looking all around

Looking to and fro, then up then down

It started to move, I was quaking in my skin

Was it in my mind, playing tricks within

In my mind I was trembling with fear

Was God around or was He even near

I cried out loud and dropped to my knees

Asking in a prayer if He could help me please

I knew not, what this was all about

Or who this is, was he big or stout

I heard this voice, gently speaking to me

He spoke to my heart, drawing me unto Thee

My heart began to change, transforming within

I started to read His Word and discovered it was my sin

I confessed my sin, forgiveness is what He gave

For He is true to His Word, He’s faithful to save

His mercy and grace was bestowed on me

All because He died on that tree

With fear and trembling is how I live

I gave Him my life, now service is what I give

He paid my ransom, my debt is now paid

The condition of my sentence is faithfully waved

His grace and mercy I could never earn

But the depth of His love is what I live to learn

I no longer live in fear or afraid in this fight

Jesus is my life, for Jesus is my Light

Out Of Darkness Into The Light

Out of darkness and into the light

I was blind then You restored my sight

Enslaved in chains because my fear

Had no hope and was full of tears

Lost in bondage without a voice

Feeling alone without a choice

You are my rescue You are my aide

You broke my chains now my debt is paid

I was lost in darkness now I’m found

You picked me up when I was down

You gave me mercy when I deserved to die

I now have life and one more try

You gave me love that covered my sin

Pulled me out of the mess I was in

You loved me most when I was lost

You atoned for sin upon that cross

My debt is paid I’ve been set free

All because You died on Calvary

I jump for joy I sing this Praise

I’ll walk with Jesus in all my days

You healed my heart with Your grace

It’s Your Presence that I embrace

Who We Are Called To Be

It’s the church that we are called to be

Because Christ died on Calvary’s tree

It was the lost He came to save

Death couldn’t hold Him in the grave

On the third day He rose to life

To conquer sin and strife

It was His message that was spread

From His Word is where it’s read

His commands we learn to obey

As we walk with Him each day

He came to redeem us all

From the curse of the fall

He will come in and change your heart

From there you will be set apart

We then have a new life to live

It’s our service we learn to give

The church is who we are called to be

Now this is the call for you and me
