Oh Lord, I Come To You Today

 

Oh Lord I come to You today

On my knees I humbly pray

It’s my sin that wants to act out today

Oh Lord, help me find another way

Lead down the narrow path that’s straight

I want to enter into Your Pearly gates

From my sin You died to set me free

I draw close to You so the devil has to flee

You came and conquered death

That gave me my first new breath

Oh Lord, as I struggle now

Help me put my feet to the plow

I was in chains and you set me free

Now in Your presence I want to be

I want to walk with You in the cool of night

Oh Lord, forever show Your Light

As an example You washed my feet

So I can share Your hope down on the street

The gospel helped me respond in such a way

That I never want to stumble and stray

Oh Lord, be my guiding light

Help me to stand firm in this fight

As I bring my burdens to the cross

Thank God, I’ll never again be lost

You gave Christ to be my solid rock

I’ll forever be in Your flock

Christ Breaks Every Chain

 

You died on the Tree to break every chain

Even the sin of addiction that causes all my pain

 

The freedom from sin that opens up my heart

You died on that cross to give me a new start

 

I once was lost in the world and going to the grave

I heard Your message and knew You came to save

 

It was me that dropped to my knees

You called my name then pulled me from the weeds

 

I confessed all my sin it is You that forgives

You gave me life now forever with You I will live

 

Heavens my home I’m temporarily in this shell

You came to this earth to save me from hell

 

Now when I look in the mirror it’s You I want to see

I’m reminded that it’s You that set me free

 

You washed my feet then sent me out to serve

I read Your Word to help me not to swerve

 

You put me on a mission that helps build my faith

I share Your Gospel it tells how you came to save

 

So if you are lost and broken all’s you do is want to hide

Drop to your knees confess your sin then Jesus lives inside

 

Your heart is where Christ wants to live

A new life is what he wants to give

 

So if you’re asking why Christ had to die

To free us from God’s wrath so we won’t have to die

 

He sent me out to share how He came to give hope

I share God’s message of how He saved me from all the dope

 

I’ve been set from all the guilt and shame

Christ died on the tree so that we can believe His Name

 

So if your lost and all you want to do is die

Believe in Jesus’ Name so you won’t have to believe satans lies

With Arms Spread Open

With arms spread open, open wide

On that cursed tree He died

As a ransom for you and me

His blood was spilled to set us free

He was beaten, bloodied, black and blue

Not a word was said, for this is true

He set us free from sin and shame

There’s resurrection power in His name

He conquered death and the grave

For mankind He came to save

His Spirit was sent to be our guide

He said come to Me with arms spread wide

I got all this from His Word

Not just something I have heard

Forgiveness came with a price

He came and died to give us life

We are now an heir to His Throne

For we believe earth is not our home

Do you believe that Jesus is the only way

For me and you He came to save

Your Love

Today was hopeless

I knew that I was lost

I needed a Savior

The one that hung on the cross

 

It was on that tree

That I first saw Your grace

It was Your power, Your mercy

That let me enter this race

 

I will trust You and trust You

You will help me persevere

When times get tough

You will draw me near

 

It’s You love, yes Your love

That forgives all my sin

With arms stretched wide

Your Spirit lives with

 

Now I have hope

Because Your grace covers me

I’m thankful to God

That You died upon that tree

 

It was the grave

That couldn’t hold you down

When I feel weak

You put me on solid ground

 

It was Your love

That found me when I was lost

Now I’m have a home

Because You died upon that cross

Freedom In Christ

 

Born as a babe

a Savior is come

To a lost world

where sin they succumb

He came as a Savior

He came as a King

A message to the broken

is what He did bring

He raised the dead

the sick He healed

With a message for hearts

His Word is revealed

He called them out of darkness

in sin they were lost

He obeyed His Father

all the way to the cross

He was beaten and bullied

He was nailed to the tree

He completed Gods plan

by dying for you and me

Redemption was planned

since before the fall

To those that believe

their life has a call

In Jesus we believe

that He conquered the grave

Death couldn’t hold Him

in three days He was raised

Salvation He offers

forgiveness He gives

Freedom in Christ

is how we now life

A Message To My Heart

It was God who met me

in the middle of my sin

With a message to my heart

that was buried within

With all the pain and confusion

I wanted to die

I was lonely inside

no more tears could I cry

With cuts and bruises

all thru my dreary soul

To the depths of the earth

I thought I would go

Now I wanted to run

I wanted to hide

I thought I was alone

with no one by my side

The air got still

I heard a calm voice

All the chatter in my head

was nothing but noise

The noise got quiet

my heart began to race

With arms stretched wide

He extended me grace

He died on the cross

to save this dreary soul

To give me a new life

so my Savior I will know

A relationship with Christ

are what God desires

Obedience to His Word

I want to aspire

Forgiveness of sin

is the message I have heard

I get this message

from Studying His Word

Now if you are lost

can’t seem to find your way

Stop what you are doing

then begin to pray

Ask for Jesus

to come into your heart

To give you a new life

to give you a new start

Ask for His peace

to come rest in your soul

So, the depths of the earth

you never have to go

I Commit My Soul To You

Lord I commit my soul to You

It’s thru You love that carries me thru

If I die before I wake

I pray my Lord my soul You take

As You give me Your very best

I know I have to endure the tests

It’s my life I offer You

Help me to not live in eskew

If you give me just one more day

I vow to live and follow Your ways

As I enter into rest tonight

I pray you watch over me this night

I’m learning Father to follow love

Thankful that You’re interceding from above

Your not just Savior, Your my Guide

It’s Your love that runs deep and wide

It’s Your presence I stand in Awe

All because you love me God

We Come To The Alter

We come to the alter

Where God’s arms are open wide

He’s gifted us with love

Thru His sacrificial life

 

We come to the cross

Where He’s the source of our rest

He is our strength

When facing all of life’s test

 

It’s in His presence

That we all desire to be

We walk by the Spirit

We are forgiven and free

 

We come to the alter

Where His yoke is lite

It’s thru His blood

We have union with the Light

 

We come to the cross

For the source of life it brings

We will lift up our voice

With praises we will sing

I Believe

I believe in Jesus and

the gospel of grace

It’s the light in this world and

gives strength in this race

I believe he’ll change hearts and

free us these chains

Bring us thru tears and

storms when it rains

I believe in God’s mercy and

His unfailing love

How He’s always beside me and

His guidance is from love

I believe in Jesus and

He’s faithful to forgive

How He changed my heart and

points me in the right direction to live

I believe in God’s Word and

how His Truth changes lives

It points us to right choices

where each believer can thrive

I believe in Jesus and

His unending reign

My home is in heaven

where there’s no tears and no pain

Are You A Slave To The Grind

Are you sick and weary and feeling lost

A slave to the grind not counting the cost

Is your aim set high but your head’s hung low

Your eyes they weep not knowing where to go

Is your mind spinning always turning you around

You have smile on your face turned upside down

Are your choices eschewed causing you to doubt

Always going in circles with no way out

At the end of the tunnel you see a light

He’s drawing you close wanting your fight

With arms stretched wide he calls out your name

He wants all your struggles and all your shame

He’ll break your chains and set your heart free

He came to redeem by hanging on a tree

He was scorned and beaten had no deceit

With forgiveness in His heart it’s you He wants to meet

He gives you a choice, while offering you grace

He’ll even give you strength to walk in this race

Give Him your burdens lay them at the cross

It’s salvation He offers for all who’s lost

If the waves are high and you’re lost in a storm

Reach out to Jesus it’s you He’ll transform

Grab His hand and hold on tight

Jesus is the answer all thru this fight
